Dr Ronald Zammit

Dr. Ronald Zammit is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional in Malta and the UK, with nearly 20years of clinical experience, including 11 years in the NHS. He holds a Master’s in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.Throughout his clinical work, Dr. Zammit has developed a nuanced expertise in working with complex cases, especially trauma-related disorders. His expertise extends to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), through which he has treated individuals with personality disorders and high-risk behaviours, as well as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for trauma-focused treatment. He recently established and currently leads the Trauma Clinic at Willingness, offering specialised therapy and community education on trauma and complex stress conditions. Dr. Zammit’s clinical interests include depression,anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, and complex trauma, and he has a passion for providing evidence-based, compassionate care that fosters resilience and long-term recovery.
