Dr Zaid Teebi is a consultant physician and geriatrician who has worked for over 35 years in the Maltese NHS in the geriatric sector.  

Dr Teebi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc), a Doctor of Medicine andSurgery (MD) degree, a Master of Gerontology and Geriatrics (MGer) degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. He also obtained his MRCP in Geriatric Medicine and the Specialist Certificate in Geriatric Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.  

Dr Teebi has extensive experience in the acute, community, rehabilitation and long-term care (LTC) settings. He is particularly interested in LTC and Allergy Medicine, having also obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Allergy from the Imperial College of London. Dr Teebi has supervised various trainee doctors, and lectured numerous credits on ageing within his position as a Senior Lecturer at the Barts (Queen Mary University) Medical School.
