Clinical Psychologist (MPPB247) & Gerontologist 

Mr Yaser Teebi is a warranted Clinical Psychologist and Gerontologist specialising in Geriatrics and Gerontology, working at a Rehabilitation Hospital in Malta.  

Mr Teebi is a 3-time graduate, obtaining a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), a Master of Gerontology and Geriatrics, and a Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. He is currently reading for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Birmingham, with his thesis focusing on Awareness in Dementia.  

Mr Teebi has researched a wide variety of issues pertaining to old age,including depression in the oldest-old (90+), chronic pain, loss, neurological conditions in old age, rehabilitation psychology, and grief and bereavement,which are his main academic interests. He is a Visiting Lecturer and Supervisor at various institutions and an expert peer reviewer for Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, a SAGE Journal. He is the Vice President for Union Matters for the Malta Chamber of Psychologists.
