Background
Domain Academy is registered with the European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA) and has its own Participant Identification Code to participate in Erasmus+ funds. Through its networking and affiliation with a wide variety of international organizations, Domain Academy has established networks and affiliations with international industry and academic organizations to enable it to work collaboratively in delivering high-quality programmes in all areas, such as teaching, research, industry visits, internships and work placements for our interns and our full-time students alike. Domain Academy also operates a pioneering and specialised English School called English Domain (www.englishdomain.eu).
Internships options
There exists a variety of packages that Domain Academy can provide. These include learning English based on different vocational specialisations such as engineering, pilots, manufacturing, IT, services industry, tourism, hospitality, aviation, etc. This is normally accompanied by visits in the relevant industry so that trainees can practise their English on the field. Domain Academy also specialises in a variety of work placements for various sectors such as engineering, hairdressing and beauticians, chefs in hotels and hospitality, health sector, manufacturing concerns, aviation and IT sector.
There has been a variety of Erasmus+ activities from international colleges including ones from France, Poland, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Turkey and Norway. Trainees in different sectors have been on work placement or internships for the past six years. A group of teachers from various countries have been on Erasmus+ week visits to Malta through Domain Academy. The last two years have been particularly active in welcoming a variety of students from different countries from all over Europe. This complemented the intercultural dimension of Domain Academy which forms part of its philosophy.
Industry sectors
The industrial sectors that Domain Academy has developed links with cover a wide range of opportunities. These include hotel’s maintenance departments, hospitality, chefs, hotel’s spas, industries specialising in engineering areas, maintenance departments in the IT sector, hairdressers and beauty salons, men barbers, HR management departments, Government health care community clinics, main hospital, electricians, cargo handling with different airlines, etc.
Support Services
Domain Academy offers a wide selection of accommodation options such as:

- Hotels
Airport meet-and-greet is also provided together with other logistic support services such as transportation, excursions, cultural visits, etc. Domain Academy’s Welfare Office is responsible for all accommodation, logistics and non-academic support services.
